Lara Ford

Certified Personal Trainer

Lara holds a Group Fitness Instructor certification from AFAA. (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and is a Certified Personal Trainer with IFA (International Fitness Association). She teaches a variety of fitness formats including: Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, Barre, TRX, Core Training, Strength and Conditioning, Body Pump, Group Power, Group Core, Rowing, Tabata, Bootcamp, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and more!

Lara has been teaching in the Fitness and Wellness Industry since she graduated college in 1991. She holds a bachelors Degree in Psychology and Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Education. She was a high school and collegiate athlete and played field hockey, soccer, and ran track and field. She has coached various athletic teams including soccer, running and tennis. Lara competed in numerous races including the New York Marathon, Ragner Relays, and various other competitions.

Two of her passions are fitness and education. Lara has merged both of these passions into her profession as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. She loves motivating people to improve their health and wellness. She gets excited to see people reach their fitness goals. She enjoys personal training clients who prefer an individualized approach to their fitness and wellness. Working one on one with clients allows her to custom tailor a fitness regiment to meet the individuals’ needs.
